Education Update: March 20, 2020

Dear Valued Students,

We thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this difficult time. We hope that you, your community and your loved ones have been staying healthy and safe during this unprecedented global situation. Our team is working diligently on remaining current and compliant with Government updates, recommendations and instructions. This is a follow up to the notice we distributed on March 15 stating that European Institute of Esthetics would be closed for classes this week until March 21. We have received news directly from Private Career Colleges information bulletin and we will share the following message with you.

Excerpt from PCC as of March 17, 2020:

“The Private Career Colleges branch suggests that private career colleges suspend in-person classes until the PCC branch provides further direction.

In light of the above decision, the Private Career Colleges (PCC) branch is allowing all private career colleges to shift instruction to an online format.”

The safety of you and our community is our number one priority and we have already begun preparation to facilitate many of our courses in an online format. It is essential to continue the momentum of your education in the best way possible. Fortunately, we can maintain the integrity and quality of our education programs by delivering modular, online correspondence training. Some of our classes will completely certify you online upon completion. The remaining classes will be provided in a theory only format, supported by professionally recorded educator lectures, chats, assignments and demos. Supplemental material, at home assignments and quizzes will also be provided to students online. Certain classes will of course require students to come back later for practical training and a final exam. Our educators will be available to support you via email, phone calls and interactive online question and answer sessions. The wonderful thing is that you can keep progressing in your workshops, courses and programs with minimal disruption to your learning experience.

We are still unsure of when we will be able to resume classes at the school, so we have prepared to accommodate the students that were previously scheduled in courses ranging from March 15 to April 10. Our administration will be sending you information early next week with additional information on online training. Should there be a possibility that we will have to remain closed beyond the Easter holiday weekend, we will be updating you again at the beginning of April.

We encourage you to participate in the online training and we are also happy to welcome you back for additional training when school resumes! We want to keep open lines of communication with you during this time so please send us an email if you are unsure about anything at all. Email is the fastest way to get in touch with us and will ensure we get back to all of you with questions.

Please stay safe and healthy and know that we will all get through this time. We are grateful for all of you for choosing us as your education provider and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
